As the first release from The Sisters Sisters’ album, You Don’t Own Me Anymore, this music video introduces the album’s themes of female empowerment and personal discovery. A young girl awakes in a whimsical cabin, driven by her intuition to explore uncharted waters. The project features renowned folk artist, Butch Anthony, and honors southern gothic mythology. The album, produced by Brandi Carlile and chronicled by 1504, went on to earn The Secret Sisters their first Grammy nomination and further establish their distinct sound.
